LAST DANCE
Tomorrow is my physics practical ,It is my last practical after that i will have 10 days to prepare for exams. I have done 3 practical and i want to perform good in this practical.
Because in my data mining practical today i barely made it across ,if it wasn't for chatgpt , and Adarsh's advice i wouldn't have been able to complete my practical cause i wasn't able to run the program on Jupiter notebook or vs code myself. Later i found out i making a path error in the code.
But in reality i wasn't prepared i knew that i will be given Jupiter notebook in practical but i never bothered to run a complete program on it. Instead i just tried to install it on my pc look for the upload option and tried uploading the dataset and that's it.
I knew i was having trouble in it and i ignored it even then. I am having the same problems in physics practical i am not able to understand the single slit experiment and its calculation and I also don't completely understand the plank's constant experiment.
I would have to give all my time learning these practicals. In the past, I used to dance to music all night, daydream while listening to it, or watch videos on YouTube and tell myself I would do it later. But when the time came, I just sighed and said it didn’t matter how it went, and I would have problems with the practicals
Preparing before the battle is really important , Not listening to any music or watching youtube videos ,scrolling on x might make you unfocused and you will get fucked in the test cause you spend your energy elsewhere.
The way is to have single pointed focus the night before your exam so you know all the details and you can recall them easily if needed.
This night is also a test for me to check what i have learned from my past experience because if i make the same mistake that i have been making since my first semester then i don't deserve to pass the exam .
I watched a spy's podcast whose name was Lucky Bisht and he said that his senior told him that he can make any mistake in life but don't make the same mistake twice .
The same thing applies to my life as well cause if i look at the past two year i have been making the same mistakes over and over again instead of learning from them.
watching youtube , listening music the night before exam and then saying i didn't had any time.
Not eating enough protein, consuming fewer carbs, doing progressive overload, and then saying I am not getting results in the gym
Not spending 2-3 hours daily seven days a week on learning web dev and saying i am not able to learn web dev ,DSA or Devops.
Looking for shortcuts to get a job by watching YouTube videos and podcasts, and then saying I am not able to get a job because the job market is tough.
Suddenly starting to watch an anime, podcast, movie, or series and then bingeing it until it’s finished, wasting the next 7-8 hours and the entire day. This habit takes up all my productive time, leaving me with no energy or focus for other important tasks.
As a result, I end up going to bed at 3 or 4 a.m., waking up late, and fuck up my entire week. I keep waiting for the weekend to catch up on sleep and reset my sleep cycle, but the problem only gets worse.
Instead of fixing my routine, I repeat the same mistake by watching another TV show, podcast, movie, or anime ,fucking up my entire month leaving me frustrated and upset about why I can’t make progress in my life.
