I am re-writing the "Knight's Tale" by Chaucer in my own style.
----------------------------A TALE OF TWO KNIGHTS ----------------------------
Once upon a time there was a king named Theseus, he was the the king of Athens and he was known for conquering kingdoms. Recently he conquered Amazon ( a female dominant kingdom) and married the queen of amazon. After conquering amazon he started his journey to Athens with his wife Hippolyta and his sister-in-law Emily.
On his way to Athens he got stopped by women dressed in black cloaks who were mourning with great sorrow. Theseus got angry seeing them standing in his happy homecoming. He asked them angrily how dare you ruin my homecoming do you not care for your lives. Both woman addressed Theseus saying " Hey Great Theseus listen to us poor Widows , Our lives have been destroyed by the cruelty of Creon.
We all are the wives of noblemen who fought in Thebes and oppressed by the cruelty of Tyrant Creon. First he slayed our husbands in war and now he ordered not to bury their bodies but wild animals and rodent will eat their flesh." Please help us from this tyranny.
Moved by their plight and cruelty of Creon, Theseus promised them to take swift action. He halts his journey towards Athens send Hippolyta and Emily to Athens and gathered his man to march towards Thebes.
Theseus fought against Creon and won the battle. After conquering Thebes Theseus order proper burial for the slain noblemen as promised to the grieving widows. He finds two knights who were wounded but still alive, there both were cousins and related to Creon and part of royal family. But instead of executing them, Theseus decided to take them as prisoners of war and imprison them in a tower in Athens, cutting them off from society and surrounding them with guards.
The name of these two knight's was Palemon and Arcite , they both were cousins and related to Creon.
