THE NO PIRACY PROMISE
I woke up late today at 3 pm mainly because i was a bit ill and didn't used blanket while it was cold. I didn't do any work today not a single minute of maths lecture or english flashcards. After i ate my lunch i got sleepy and was cold at the same time so i had to take out heavy blanket from the bed and put a thin warm blanket on bedsheet so i can be warm. This basically happened cause i underestimated the cold and got a taste of what cold can do.
I deleted gta III from my phone today and finally decided that i don't fucking like playing games on phone i like console game for playstation or x box but i don't have either or it right now so i realised pretending to play games on a laptop with broken mouse and saying i get relaxed after playing games is a lie that i am telling myself just cause i saw elon musk on jre talking about how playing diablo helps him relax but at this point gaming is just stressing and i don't enjoy it at all.
Few months ago , I came with the concept of "No Piracy Promise" it basically says that whatever game ,movies, songs etc i want i will get it from the legitimate source and if i can't get it from the legitimate source mainly due to lack of money that just means that i am not ready for that thing and I should leave it or make changes in my lifestyle to buy it.
A thought of getting a netflix subscription is coming in my mind cause i want to watch the anime "Ranma 1/2" and "Dragon ball daima" and due to my promise i will never watch them using piracy cause it will make me more honest and self accountable with myself and netflix is the only platform available where i can watch both of them. So i have decided that i should take this risk and get it for my phone, now i also have two choices in it , should i get the basic plan or the standard plan i.e. 150 rs vs 200 rs . I will get the 200 rs cause if i get the 150 one and it doesn't come out as good then i will mentally beat myself up over that decision.
Also , i will get netflix around 1 dec causes then my practicals would be over and then i can simple focus on getting the work in.
But i really like this idea of no piracy if you can't afford it. It saves you so much problem and you become more honest with yourself.
